Hello everyone! We have had a very busy two months here in third class and can’t believe the mid term has arrived so quickly! Everyone has been working very hard and we have also had lots of fun while learning lots of new things over the last few months!

In History we have been learning about the Celts and have completed projects at home on different topics related to the Celts. We then presented the projects in class and had lots of fun listening to our friends presentations!

We have been working vey hard on art pieces based on Autumn and Halloween and we have displayed them in the classroom and out on the corridor! Please take a look if you get a chance. We also went to see a play called 'The Musician' in the Black Box last Thurdsay. We all really enjoyed the show and even enjoyed the walk from the school to the theatre!

I have to mention all the fantastic stars of the week so far this year in 3rd class - Cian Mc Cann, Paris, Henrica, Bianca, Ailbhe, Darragh and this week's star Jacklyn. It is so difficult to choose a star each Friday as everyone in the class is working so hard and trying their best! It is fantastic to read out the parent letter to the class telling us how special your child is to you - it really makes the 'Star of the Week' feel extra special!
